The brother of an employee who died after being struck by a printer in the parking lot of a Washington DC pizza shop said Thursday the driver is “a good dude” and will be punished by the company.

The driver, who was in his early 30s, was found in the area of 16th and C Streets NW at around 2:30 a.m.

Thursday, according to a DC police spokesman.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the driver has not been released.

The pizza restaurant, located at 1516 W. C Street NW, is owned by the same family that owns a home in the same neighborhood.

The death of Brother, who worked at the pizza restaurant since 2014, was not immediately clear, the spokesman said.
